Spring Break!!!

Hi everyone - as promised, news from our spring break trip to Park City.

It started out quite warm - the first few days were in the 60s (+10-15C) but over the last week we got about 2 feet of snow. Everyone got to ski, and I even saved the best powder day for Tatiana and Marina.

Anyhow here's the video highlights if you're impatient:

The longer version...

We enjoyed the warm-weather skiing.

We made new friends...

...and spent time with family too.

We built a little house and a little snowman.

Sometimes Marina would look at the world from Evan's perspective...

... and sometimes she looked at things from Dad's shoes. Er, hat.

As for Evan - he just tried to bundle up and keep warm when he went outside.

One final note - we returned to CA and found 2 green cards waiting in the mailbox.

Hi again

OK, I haven't been the best blogger. Sorry. I think my moment of panic came when a professor pointed out to me that each academic unit is supposed to be 3-5 hours of work/week. I had already signed up for 19 units by that point..

With me doing schoolwork morning to night, the rest of the family still took care to train for our trip to Park City. Here's Marina getting in shape:

and here's Evan doing his part - working on tummy time and smiles.

This week in Park City, we've been having a great time. Little Man celebrated his 4-month birthday on Monday. Marina has been skiing or ice skating almost every day (more ice skating than skiing, because the weather has been quite warm). I've been running, skiing, and job hunting. And Tatiana's been trying to sleep, but we don't always let her...

Videos from Park City will follow shortly. School starts up again on Tuesday but it won't be so bad..
